Healthwatch Rochdale & Healthwatch Oldham publish findings and recommendations after Enter and View visit at Royal Oldham Hospital, Postnatal ward.

This report has been written to give an introduction and overview of what Rochdale and Oldham Maternity Voices Partnership do, how they do it and to also present findings, provide updates on work undertaken so far and to share the view and work plan for the future covering 2021 to 2023.

This workplan has been coproduced with the Rochdale and Oldham MVP Volunteer Advocates and thematic work areas have come from feedback received.

The CQC commissioned Healthwatch Oldham and Healthwatch Rochdale to gather experiences from partners and or family members who had supported a pregnant or birthing person through the maternity journey between September 2021 to February 2023. We have summarised the responses in this report.

Pharmacy services are now playing a larger role in looking after people’s health and following a discussion at Healthwatch Rochdale’s Advisory Group we wanted to hear people’s experience of using these services in Heywood, Middleton, Rochdale & Pennines.
